Tour operators sri lanka - Therefore we decided to tour Sri Lanka, but where to start and the way much wouldn't it cost. We wanted to make our budget benefit us and acquire us from the six weeks we planned to keep.

We'd two tours planned and also the remaining portion of the time we would stay in Colombo and soak up the culture.

We did everything online. We knew just how much we wished to devote to meals and accommodation so we got on line, reviewed the places making our booking. Both for tours.

Of course we booked ourselves a vehicle and driver as well both for these tours, also online.

So we arrived together our first stint in Colombo and also the day's our first tour arrived. Our driver and vehicle arrived. So we set off. The driving experience is something else altogether. NEVER try to drive yourself in Sri Lanka - we had been warned hence there were a car and driver.

Tour operators sri lanka - I will remember driving as much as our first accommodation - the looks on our faces dropped. The wife was devastated and our adult daughters were not going to be comfortable. I swear it absolutely was a brothel or useful for those purposes too. What a disaster.

And thats when the tour changed for us as well as the magic started.

Our tour guide/driver came to the rescue. He saw and understood the apprehension in us and immediately ordered an inspection from the hotel. We told him i was unhappy and he went and spoke to the hotelier and sorted it. Booking canceled. Then took us a number of other accommodation sites for inspection. All 3 and 4 star. Very suitable and also to western standards and many types of within our budget range. We merely picked the accommodation we had been happy with.

And also this became the pattern for the rest of the tour.

He took us on Safari, found us safari drivers, wonderful local eateries, quality resorts and accommodation, he went looking for and located incredible little shops and brought a real local flavour to your tour. History, culture, people, places, cuisine and anything else.

His time effort, meals, accommodation, diligent humble insightful plan to us was a part of the offer and within the price. Incredible!

Tour operators sri lanka - On return from your first tour we cancelled everthing for that second tour and planned the next tour with him. Tea country, worlds end, elephant safari, elephant rides, shopping, Yala jungle preserve and also on and on...

Oh and lest I forget, we booked an additional visit to Sri Lanka and asked him to sort out the tour which included the Kandy Perehara. One of the worlds most spectacular events and indeed we had been treated to the best seats inside the parade.
