5 Essential Types of the infant Clothes

For brand new parents, baby clothes shopping could be rather frustrating and confusing. As all baby clothes look irresistibly cute, next thing you realize... you have bought diet program the same items, e.g. shoes or heading out outfits, and never enough other essential ones.

To make life easier for you, just remember the next 5 essential types of baby clothes you will need in the first couple of months:

1. Infant body suits

Even though this appears like an obvious essential, many new parents often forget to stock up body suits. For that choice of size, I recommend '3-6 months' because newborn babies often outgrow the '0-3 months' size only in a few weeks' time! For the choice of colours, plain white works perfectly fine, these days they are available in many styles and colors. Kimono style infant body suits are the most useful choice for umbilical cord care, to ensure that whenever you put it on and take it off, your body suits won't constantly rub against their bellies.

2. Baby pyjamas and baby booties

Newborn babies have no idea the main difference between day and night. They may sleep as much as 16 hours a day or maybe more (often in stretches of 3 to 4 hours at a time). Therefore, it is vital to have a good and comfy pyjamas and booties. For warmer weather, get thin cotton material of one-piece sleepers. For colder weather, switch to heavier-weight type for example blanket sleepers.

3. Baby heading out outfits

Babies get messy very easily; therefore apart from looking great, search for outfits which will give you easy access for diaper change, for example baby coveralls. They make cleaning your baby easy and time efficient. For colder months, dress your child in the same quantity of layers you're dressing yourself, plus one. The "plus one" can be a blanket and/or the stroller's rain cover. But don't overdo it, when you are indoors, such as train station, shopping mall or car, as it can cause your child overheated.

4. Baby outerwear

Baby outerwear ranges from jackets (snow jackets, summer thin jackets), swimwear, sunglasses and hats. During winter, in case your baby isn't yet crawling, snow jacket and a hat or baby buntings are sufficient. For babies that are crawling, they require both one-piece snowsuits and snow jackets. If your baby has already been walking, you have to buy rugged pair of snow pants along with a snow jacket. During summer, hooded t-shirts, thin cotton jackets are essential because they are light and easily layered (when needed). While a lightweight sun hat is a must, do not forget to match it with a sun-blocking parasol mounted on your stroller. Protect your baby's face and hands with sunscreen, but it's still better to keep him indoors or shaded, especially at that time when the sun is strongest.

5. Baby shoes, socks and hats

To keep your baby's little feet warm and their heads protected from sun, rain, hail and snow, these next accessories items are essential: shoes, socks and hats. Lucky that they are extremely adorable to buy! When choosing for shoes, make sure they are soft-soled, slip-on and warm (can be worn with or without socks). For socks, stock up coon, because it absorbs sweats and soft on their own skins. Summer hats may include baseball caps, sun hats, cotton beanies, while winter hats must have ear protection and ties to make sure they stay put to provide maximum protection.
